Season 15 is upon us... several things to discuss.

Remember, we keep 2 now (non top scorers). I guess everyone can start emailing me there 2 keepers whenever.

Are we trying to get the new season all ready in one week? or since the draft is a bit longer are we bumping out an extra week? I don't think the two rounds are all that bad. Only 20 more picks.

Most Important
Do we plan to score NXT? which needs to be determined before the draft starts.

I would be interested in us scoring NXT, but that is easy to say since I don't have to do the work.

      Mon, Mar 29, 2010, 14:19 		I'm really torn on it. It does seem like it would be reasonable to score it since there are basic matches and storylines within the show. On the other hand, no belts are defended on it and the matches aren't building towards a PPV or furthering storylines that are.

Surprisingly, I lean towards not scoring it, and kind of using it as a AAA that we can all keep an eye on. Part of that opinion is factoring the burden that has been on Farn and Mike to score all this and we need to lighten the load. Since this show is on the fence anyway, why not use that to lighten it a bit.

These guys could be really good guys to have on our bench and still keep an eye on and hope they win so that they do debut and make an impact on our main rosters.

I would say to score nxt- but possibly add a roster spot and we can each pick 1 guy in case they show up on the big show or something, what do you think?

Striker says that in six weeks, the next poll will be released and the bottom wrestler will be gone. Then each week after, the bottom person will be eliminated until we get to the final four. Then whoever wins the NXT competition will not only be the next WWE superstar, but they will get a title shot on any Pay Per View against ANY champion of their choice!

GO, Rude, Wiggs seem to be in favor. Goat, neutral and I know Tree is in favor because he can keep Danielson. So unless someone is vehemently against it - speak now, or forever hold your peace - and get your keepers in ASAP.

It should be noted that when my basketball team starts traveling the country this summer that my scoring and standings/stats postings will be delayed.

Maybe if someone else wants to step up and be "the Smackdown guy" or something that would help out everyone.

      Thu, Apr 01, 2010, 14:09 		if there is somebody that is willing to watch shows and score them I am happy to let that duty go. Its a really easy job once you memorize the scoring rules. Keys are to remember the jerker points, announcer points, and ME points. Basically then all you look up periodically is which belt has what value for winning/defending.

I can share that spreadsheet with anyone who wants to score. If you just score it on that sheet and email it back I can copy and paste. My live scoring autopopulates itself (assuming I make weekly roster changes).

Talking out loud.... this might be a good thing to use the google sharing account thing if possible.

I'm discussing Zyre's keepers with Rude and we think we have it pinned down. Its Henry vs. Hardy and we're pretty sure he wants Hardy cause he included him in the deal we just did. So I am gonna call this thing finalized and send Farn my chart to post in the draft thread along with the pick chart.

Then I'm going to send out the "available talent" list I've tried to compile to everyone to try and help everyone get up to speed quickly. I've also got Tree's pick, so Species get ready (you are #1).

I am probably going to score all the shows this week. This weekend I am free to get myself a little more organized so I'll try to get things set up so we can all take turns scoring shows. But this week I should be able to score the shows with no issues.

      Mon, Apr 12, 2010, 22:22 		Ok, I think I just set up Google Docs so that Wiggs, GO, and Species can test out the spreadsheet. If you 3 guys can take a look and see what you think that would help.

All you have to do is enter points in the individual cells and it will add up. You can see those points adding up to each team on the "adding" tab.

There was a lot of talk he wasn't going to renew, and his former partner Charlie Haas has been telling him that they could both make good money reforming their tag team and wrestling in the indies and in TNA.

with World Wrestling Entertainment is reportedly expiring very soon and he
did not sign a new contract. Batista is involved in tonight's Extreme Rules
pay-per-view main event with John Cena in a Last Man Standing match.

      Wed, Apr 28, 2010, 23:58 		Did anybody besides wiggs and I catch Raw on Monday? He scored it as a tag bout because the teams were basically competing for 3 draft picks and when there were 2 Raw guys left the battle royal stopped.

My thought would be to score it as a battle royal, give Santino and Dibiase 30 points each for winning the battle royal and then give 3rd place points to Mysterio and score the others all as a battle royal by order of elimination.

Thoughts from others because its an odd bout?

apparently, he was released for the part of the angle where he choked Justin Roberts with his own tie. long story short, apparently after the Benoit incident, WWE wrestlers were no longer allowed to "choke" someone with ropes, foreign objects, or whatever.

Danielson broke that rule, although most people speculate he probably didn't even know about it.

I see him up next summer. Hope they don't ruin him. We were lucky they didn't kill Punk, and even "Daniel Bryan" was ok and I expect will return at some point. Bourne is pretty much the same except they changed his name. Tyler is bigger though... so I fear they won't let him fly around too much. Actually, you know who I think he's similar to? John Morrison. i think thats a very fair comparison. And they let him go, so hopefully its similar.

I think we should cut back to just RAW, SD and maybe Superstars. The show is entertaining, but I think its leading to some unbalanced scoring where guys like Eli Cottonwood score 50 some points on a random Tuesday for no good reason... and he's blowing Randy Orton or whoever out of the water week to week. I think it'll be great to keep an eye on and can see all of us still adding these guys to our benches as we watch their development.

This is adding so many guys worth starting that is making trading impossible cause everyone has good starting lineups.

      Mon, Sep 20, 2010, 10:34 		Well NXT is gonna be disappearing at least temporarily because Smackdown is going to SyFy soon. They will only carry the one WWE show I believe.

But I don't know if they plan to continue with NXT elsewhere. That said, I still don't think we should bother scoring it. I enjoy the show but I think we should view it as a "minor league" where we all keep an eye on these guys, and even add them to our benches... but they shouldn't score until they hit "the big leagues" or at least show up on RAW or SD or PPV.
