I'm just gonna pick Cena for him if he doesn't pick by tomorrow at noon. Wiggs you can send me 9 names (or 6 names and then a second email with 3 names if you want). I'll text you with updates tomorrow. I've got a normal day of work so I'll be a computer all day.

So we never voted on whether to add WWE Main Event to scoring. I personally don't get that channel so I've never watched. But they do seem to get some legit matches.

Unless someone plans to watch and score each week, here is my proposal for scoring it. I will read the results and ONLY give match wins/loss match related points (including bonus for main event, championship match, specialty match etc). But I will not be trying to figure out curtain jerkers, backstage or in-ring promo's etc. Its just too hard to figure those things out from reading.
I will simply add these to the Smackdown points tab so I don't have to have a whole extra chart etc.

I think that seems fair. Just win/loss results are fine.

Capturing the main points/results from it is better than nothing at all. Sounds good to me. They have had some decent matches on there... but WGN Superstars started that way at first, too. Hopefully
the same won't happen once it gets 'established'

I'm assuming I don't lose my waiver position just from activating a prospect, correct?

You're right RJ ... it should be 6 starters, 2 bench and 1 prospect. Wiggs and Tree need to adjust. (Although I think Tree just forgot someone)

Ok, so we seem to be ok with basic match related points for WWE Main Event. So here is this weeks sample.
WWE Main Event SPOILERS if you want to wait a day, don't read more...

So I would give...
Sheaumus 18
Ziggler 10
Barrett 30
Ryder 15

1. Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler (w/AJ, Big E Langston) via countout. A great back and forth match that ended with Sheamus winning by count out. Big E and Sheamus had a great stare down with Big E finally walking away.

2. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett beat Zack Ryder. A good match that showed Ryder can wrestle once you get past the comedy act. This concluded Main Event.

I'm thinking unless there is a title match or specialty match bonus involved - thats how simple it should be. No points for curtain jerker, no promo or interference or manager points, no commentary etc.

One thing we need to vote on though - do we give Barrett and Ryder 10 main event points?
I vote no, because I don't think main eventing a 2 match show is really worthy, I consider this more of a Smackdown warmup. But I am more or less on the fence about it.

I'm gonna go B) 2 pts with consideration asked for rewarding the Rumble winner just a little more. Winning the RR is the biggest thing outside of winning the Main Event at Mania ... whether you come in at 30 or not. They plan that shit all year.

The winner already starts with 20 more points than everybody else so I'm not sure how much else to reward them. We could up that another 10 perhaps. But they already on average get about 80 points for winning - this year being the exception due to not being the main event.

I think increasing the eliminations will help - because the guy that wins will also likely throw multiple people out.

Khali seems to get a squash win every week... he's only got 20 points less than Ryback and is 18th overall ahead of guys like Miz, Kofi.

So what contender wants to make him their 6th scorer for a mid round pick swap or younger talent who you can't keep?

I'm looking to move two 3rd round picks (mine and Zyre's) for a 2nd round pick and a 6th.

My 3rd round pick will be the first so you're basically getting the last 2nd round pick as it is. Move me up a few spots and I'll be satisfied.

Out of curiosity, if its draft picks only why does it matter when the trade is made? The point of the deadline is to preserve the end of the season. Draft pick trades don't alter the playoffs.

There is an extra week in these playoff rounds -- there are still 3 RAWs + 3 SD's before Wrestlemania. Not sure why Wrestlemania is so late this year... but this is good actually, cause gives the Finals an extra week vs. the semi-final. Not that anyone can catch Wiggs anyway at this point.
