Well NOW what do I do? I now have one of the Tag Team champs (Scotty 2 Hotty) AND a US Title 'contender' (Gunn - and I use the term loosely).

If I trade Benoit to you, my potential keepers are:

Christian
Chavo
Basham
Steiner
Hardy
Gunn
Scotty 2 Hotty

One of the above gets tossed as my best scorer.

Or, if I keep Benoit, I have:

Christian
Hardy
Steiner
Gunn or Scotty

Wouldn't it be silly to trade away a WM headliner to improve keeper position when I could be just fine, possibly , with what I have now? That's rhetorical -- I'm mainly 'talking out loud'.

I don't mean to be a flake, but at the moment I'm going to hold. If things clear up later, perhaps I'll re-offer. The opportunity for you to keep Lesnar (or Benoit at worst) is one I think you'll still be open to a week or two from now.

Thanks dude.

i'm disappointed in you passing on the deal, mostly because i think you're putting Gunn and Scotty too high.

Gunn is a "perennial" contender, but never really gets that shot. And Scott and Rikishi are going to be very short-term champs. i legit don't see them holding the belts for more than a couple of weeks.

i think they just put the belts on them to pass them to another heel team - WWE doesn't like belts going from heels to heels, so they have an "interim" champ...

guess we'll see..

I hear you, and I don't have delusions of grandure in terms of Scotty or Gunn, but it's a matter of value. If these guys are healthy and at all in the picture, all I really get for giving up one of the top 3 scorers is an improvement in my 4th keeper.

Obviously that was the point to begin with, but with Gunn strangely back so big with a US Title shot, how much better is a Chavo (who I might not keep anyway) or Basham over Gunn or Scotty? I guess that's the point I'm wavering over. Plus, with Gunn and Scotty seemingly in the hunt for time at the NWO PPV and Benoit obviously majorly involved in many RAW's between now and WM, I have a shot at a top 3 finish.
