OK, I knew I was doing something wrong. Last month, we established Battle Royale scoring here. The rules from post 7 there that were agreed on by everyone who gave an opinion in that thread were used for a Battle Royale that took place during the Week 8 Raw show last month. No one objected, and I think it's best if we stick to one format.
For that event, there were 20 wrestlers scheduled (2 didn't make it out). The first one eliminated was given 11 points, next 12, and so on, with the winner taking 30. We agreed that if the Royale turned out to be the ME (which it was that week) then the last 5 in the ring would get ME points added to their score.
This Royale had 10 contestants, so in keeping with that format, there are two ways for us to do this. The first way, the first person eliminated would get 21, second 22, and so on, up to Chavo who gets 30 for the win. PWScoops gives a complete description, so going by that, here's what I get:
Spike 21 Nunzio 22 Paul London 23 Akio 24 Shannon Moore 25 Scotty2Hotty 26 Funaki 27 Noble 28 Kidman 29 Chavo 30
The other way, the first person gets 11, going up to Kidman, getting 19, and Chavo 30. I think I like this (the second) way better, but lets hear what the group has to say.
It doesn't matter for this particular issue but it also occurrs to me that any Royale with more than 20 participants means that some will score less than 10 points under this format, which doesn't seem right. So maybe we could make it a 10 point minimum.
