Well the seasons isn't officially over yet, but why not get started? After two seasons of GO and I battling it out (actually it wasn't much of a battle this year), it's likely that some new blood is ready to rise to the top due to some unfortunate circumstances, bad luck and aggressive trading giving GO and I only 3 legit scoring keepers and NO picks!

Of course, congratulations to GO for his 2nd title in 3 years.....and as he is want to remind me, only the out-of-nowhere Hardy tag title win on the RAW after Wrestlemania stopped him from making it a wiggs-esqe three in a row. This year should be interesting with some astute keeper management by Farn, some huge draft pick stockpiling by Tree and some of both by wiggs making for some fresh blood at the top. If nothing else, it is likely to at least be much more competitive.

Documenting trades that will affect the draft order:
Farn gets Species' 3rd round pick for his 4th (Season VIII Umaga deal)
Mike D gets Great One's 3rd round pick for his 4th (Season VIII Edge deal)
Tree gets Species' 1st and 2nd round pick for his 3rd and 4th round picks (Batista deal)
wiggs gets Farn's 1st round pick for his 4th (HBK deal)
Bobo gets Great One's 2nd round pick for his 4th (Nitro deal)
Rude gets Great One's 1st round pick for "his lowest at the time of the draft" (Flair deal)
Goatlocker gets Species' 2nd round pick (via Tree) and Tree's 4th round pick in Season 11 for his 1st round picks in Season X and Season XI (Khali)
Great One gets Rude's 2nd round pick for his 4th (Booker/VKM).

More to come as Standings become official.

Kevin Thorn is on the trading block...if you have interest in him, I would be looking for 4th round pick.

Also, who should a send a queue to if I will be away from a computer for a while?

Bobo,
I just wonder why you kept Thorn? His points might have cost you the 2nd overall pick.

wiggs...

good question, but in hindsight, it wouldn't have mattered as I would've ended up with Jeff Hardy and now I can hopefully get a late round steal.

With VKM back on the Rude Ravishers, I think I should be able to (like how he screws people with handicap matches) be able to take away one wrestler's scoring, from another team, for that week.

You need to practice your VKM "strut" as an added bonus to your Rude dance. Start by shoving a broomstick up your ass and walking down a ramp. hahahahahaha

It's going to be hilarious having my 4 draft picks be the quality of waiver wire pickups! I wish I had been around to take Bobo up on his Thorn offer.

I have Bobo's pick and Zyre is aware he is up soon. I then have a couple picks here myself.

If everyone checked in the next few hours we could finish this and not have to worry about it over the weekend.

And if you can't, just send Wiggs a que.

am I the only one who thinks this season has the potential to be one of the most competitive in a long time? It seems like a number of teams all have potential big scorers and helpful role players.

We want The Model in Team Rude to teach some of the up and coming talent how to be an effective heel.

Mr McMahon was first acquired to fulfill that role, but it was quickly realized he is more interested in counting his riches and wooing the women of the company with his huge grapefruits.

Team Rude is putting the league on notice and now has that "Arrogance" aroma.

I'm waiting to hear about Tree's experience at Wreslefest this weekend. The ROH show was solid, but supposedly everything at the event on the days prior to that Sunday night show was crazy... people no-showing (Nash/Hall, Angle etc), Lex Luger winding up in a hospital, the promoters checks bouncing for all the talent invited, people walking out...

I expect Tree was in the middle of everything and give us a little behind the scenes of what was going on. Sounds crazy.

I have been reading about this type of thing a little lately. These conventions where the guys running it either aren't making enough to cover cost or they are just stiffing the wrestlers. Either way its a bad trend and could severely impact the future of these things.

a bit more from 411

Your News: Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Nick Dinsmore all pulled out of the Cow Palace convention over the weekend. Lex Luger missed the event due to the nerve impingement mentioned above (temporary paralysis).

Some of the performers scheduled are at the Cow Palace signing. A number of booked wrestlers, however, including The Steiner's and Brian Knobs, have staged something of a sit-in at the lobby of the hotel where they were booked, waiting to be paid. From what I understand, they have been waiting since 8 AM Pacific for the wife of the promoter to arrive with their pay as they've been told they would be paid half of their money via cash and half via check. The wrestlers waiting were originally told that the bank was "three hours away", which was followed by a story that the wife was "pulled over while driving back", and later that there was traffic returning to San Francisco.

My Views: This show was a disaster, and the sad thing that people thought it would be before it went down. First of all there was the fact that they had the balls to try and run the FN Cow Palace! The place holds roughly 14,000 for wrestling, they were never going to fill that. That is a red flag right there. Secondly there was not a lot of advertising. A week before the show people booked on it were wondering if it was still happening. That is never good. With these issues, Angle "called off sick," which I believe because through TNA he was paid in full and had his plane ticket. Nash, Hall and Dinsmore basically got smart because they didn't receive their tickets or pre-pay that was agreed too. Now, if you are stupid enough to try and stiff Scott Steiner, then you're an idiot. Piper was paid half in cash and then got a check, which when he tried to cash it they said it was RUBBER! Police were sent to the deadbeat promoter's house in order to try and get the money fro the guys. There was also an altercation between Leyland Chapman's Boxing Coach and Don Frye, where Frye got sucker punched by the man. This convention will go down as one of the craziest ever, and another mark in the record books for shi--y promoters.

i will give you guys a bit more of an update when i recover. i took the red eye back from SanFran this morning, so i'm beat.

my favorite ROH moment was prior to the Vegas show. we had put some signs outside in an effort to draw a few more people into the show, and this slightly hefty, 40 something year old dude with greased back hair and an italian suit walks in and says "i wanna see this Negro Butcher guy...is he white or black?"

(that is not a typo)...
