Donald Trump +3+5+2+5- We have no precedent on how to score a draw. I scored it as a no contest because there was no winner. We should probably address that for future matches.

How do we see it? a win, a loss, somewhere in the middle?
I'd say at least a singles loss of 15 points. But its certainly not a singles win of the 30 points. How about 20 points?

I considered that GO but the argument is that neither won or lost. So to score it as either doesn't seem right.

Unless the crowd says to score it in a particular way we are probably stuck with 10 points and a needed rule change.

Oh yeah, definitely 10 points right now. I'm just trying to brainstorm a number for the future.

I think the 20 was a solid number for draw points. I was kind of trying to find halfway between win/loss points but we don't want 22.5 and 25 is too much cause thats as much as a tag win, so I figure just pull it down to an even 20 and thats pretty good. Usually when a draw happens its a scenario like last night (or an Ironman or something like that) so they definitely deserve more than the no contest - cause there was "a contest".

We probably need to make sure we use clean wording in the rule so it can't be confused with a no contest.

Species writes good language in G20, he's in charge!

What 'caused' the draw? What scenarios could happen to constitute a draw??

well in this case it was a last man standing match and neither go to his feet.

I'm not sure what else might cause a draw besides a double count out. But even double count outs are losses.

In ROH, time limit draws are not uncommon. CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe went to a 60 minute time limit draw on a couple occasions I believe.

So certainly something about time limits with no winner.

I'll take a whack at it:

Match results: Draw +20

Draw points are awarded only when the match is announced as a Draw due to some set of limitations upon the match not being met, and thus nobody wins or loses. This is different from a no contest, double DQ or double count out. Examples of situations where draw points would be awarded as opposed to no contest would be:

- Last Man Standing match: all participants are "not standing" at the count of ten
- Time limit match: nobody has won when the time limit expires -- this would include a match where someone who scores the most pinfalls or submissions ends in a tie
- Other match where the necessary stipulations of winning the match are not met by any of the participants, yet the match is completed in full

Always watch out for the fancy ones.

I think the small print gives certain rights to Species in future years.

He gets to sleep with our wives? In NJ its called the Sinatra Amendment. Springsteen is currently the only one eligible to exercise it under state law.

Mike D's wife wouldn't qualify to my standards -- too old.

GO's might. Is she flexible? A size 6 or under? I like 'em skinny. I've had a thing for former gymnasts recently......and the funny thing is, that's no joke!

the 20 pts seems fair ... it's not a loss, so it should be a little more valuable than one. Using the same 30/15 win-loss points scale in our TNA league the Draws/No Contests are worth 17 pts.

Species, I think you should talk to Tree - he's like a size 5 and probably has done some flipping around the ROH rings before the show.
