- The Santino/Big Show/Henry thing was a bodyslam contest, not a bout. So they only got 5 points each. You could probably argue the Henry/Show contest but it was called a bodyslam contest and the first one had no bell. But if people feel strongly we can fix it.
both contests were matches, both had a bell to start the match and to end the match. I dont see how that can not count as a match. I still have the show on dvr and I just watched it again.
I have it on dvr too. My only issue was that it was a bodyslam contest, not a match with a pin or submission. I compared it to things like an arm wrestling contest. And considering the Santino/Show one last a half second with scoop and slam I really saw it as a promo.
But as I said if people want to score it as a bout that's fine with me.
Did not see it and don't have it taped, so will go with whatever the group says.

I saw them as a wrestling match with the stipulation of the body slam to win -- like a tables match where going through a table wins etc.

Here is how I think you can tell the difference... neither guy stood there and let the other try and bodyslam them, did they? like in the Masterlock Challenge you sit there and let Masters put it on you. They were fighting each other for control I believe.
Logically if one is an official match then they both should be counted as matches, my only caveat to that is that in WWE's own recap they only listed the Henry win in bold like they do matches whereas the Santino loss was noted in the recap. During the Henry/Show match at one point someone looked like they were going to go for a pin and one of the announce team mentioned that the only way to win was via bodyslam so for that I would have to say they both count as matches.
On a seperate note do DX get points for promos for their pre-match mic work? I remember someone bringing up Ron Killings rapping on the way to the ring but to me if he does it in the ring, DX does their schtick, or even Jillian sings before a match those all feel like promos to me.

DX should definitely get the points, the routine is always customized (if they even do it) and isn't part of the song or whatever.
Yeah, I have compared the DX schtick to Killings. Its basically the same thing every time, with the one change being whatever dopey line HHH says after "the millions around the world".
If you guys want to give points for that we can but to me its very much a canned "promo" of nothingness.

If I had to guess I would assume most people would give promo points for the DX pre-match routine. Can we have an informal vote here?
